Open Pollinated Var.

Open pollinated varieties are pollinated by nature, wind, bees and insets to produce seed for their off spring that will be exactly like they are. Seed can be saved from open pollinated varieties. All heirloom varieties are open pollinated but some open pollinated varieties have not been existance long enough to be an heirloom. The difference between our heirloom and open pollinated varieties is how long they have been in existance. Our heirloom varieties have been grown by gardeners for over 100 years.  CLICK ON THE PHOTOS OR THE VARIETY HEADINGS BELOW TO SEE A COMPLETE PLANT DESCRIPTION.
