Cosmonaut Volkov tomatoes are an open pollinated, indeterminate variety that is very productive. It ripens deep red / orange 8 - 12 ounce slightly flattened globes(3-4in) prized for its sweet rich juice and wonderful flavor. Able to tolerate cool temps. The variety is said to have come from Ukraine, and is named for Vladislav Volkov, a Russian cosmonaut who perished in space.
